Hello, I am Caroline, a self-taught artist from Brazil.

Since I was a child my world has been populated by magic and fantastic creatures, and dreams have always played a significant part in my life.

In my work I explore the mythical - the symbolic language of fairy tales, and the mystical - the communion with the divine. I am drawn to the spaces in-between, the conjunction of dark and light, heavenly and earthy, where hybrid beings dwell, seeking to find beauty and meaning in all places.

Through the subjects I paint, I express glimpses of my own feelings and inner experiences, while also allowing each artwork and character to tell their own stories.
